New look - whatcha think?

Well I have tried to clean up the look of simonssite.com a bit to make it easier to find stuff and to add in bits like my diary and things like that. If you don’t like it let me know - I will probably tweak it a bit more until I’m happy with it, but I think it’s a bit cleaner than it was, so hopefully easier to read.
I’m not techie at all and Typepad suits me for most stuff, but it is a bit inflexible, so I may have a look at using another package like Squarespace instead.

Just curious, what are you looking to do with TypePad that you’re not able to do right now? I’d love to tell our TypePad team about what we can do to improve the service.

Hey,
Well it’s just a bit difficult organising my home page really. It’s very limited in the layout - particularly for someone that doesn’t know HTML like me. So I’m just looking for a bit more flexibility in how things can be laid out. For example, you have to have a title at the top of any links, so where for example I’ve got the links to my diary and photos, I’d ideally like to seperate them a bit, but you can’t do that without having nasty boxes at the top of each different list you create.
Also, I think the templates that are on offer aren’t very stimulating! And considering how many different people use Typepad now, I thought there would have been some more basic templates - the mixed media ones are nice but don’t really suit me. But maybe I just need to spend some time playing around with customising the templates a bit more!
