My first Television Festival

Well I got news this morning in an e-mail that I have won a bursary place to the Media Guardian Edinburgh International Television Festival! That means that the BBC will pay my flight and accomodation. There were only six places available out of the whole of Drama, Entertainment and Childrens’, so I was lucky to be picked.
MGEITF is where all the mover and shakers go in TV, so hopefully it will be a good opportunity to learn a bit and also do some networking - it’s at the end of August so I’ll post more up here when I find out a bit more about it. Could lead to a dream job though!
