Dick & Dom auditions

Well Rob and I have driven about 1600 miles over the last two weeks I think auditioning kids for the new series of Dick & Dom. I’ve got to say it was very, very tiring, but the good thing was that meeting the kids really woke us up - they were all great and very lively!
We had a night out in Glasgow at the Thai Orchid, which is a good restaurant if you’re even on Argyle Street (which is a bit empty of good places to eat), and one in Manchester, where we ended up at the Tiger Lounge with some very curious cabaret acts! The hotel in Manchester was brilliant - and pretty cheap. Definitely one to remember. The one in Doncaster however, was horrible - three stars, but the Danum Hotel wasn’t my cup of tea. First off, no shower in my room. Secondly, a dead insect in my bed. Needless to say I slept on top of the bed. And the rooms are nothing like the ones on the web site! Cheats!
