Raymond’s happy day

Well back in Belfast for the weekend there, and on Friday night it was off to celebrate Raymond Lau’s wedding to his lovely wife Meabh. The reception was in the hotel in Newcastle, and it was a great bash.

Highlight of the night had to be when Raymond got up on stage and started singing U2 songs for his wife. I think all the ladies had a tear in their eye! I went along with Jill, Christine and G, but Jill and Christine had to leave early. Unfortunately that meant G had to put up with me being drunk and refusing to leave the dancefloor. Sorry G! It was nice seeing people like John Daly though who I hadn’t seen in a while. Hope Raymond and Meabh are having a great time on their honeymoon! Other photos from the reception are here.
