Somersault

October 16th, 2005  |  Published in Film / TV

somersault
I caught another film at the weekend there, which is quite similar to The Station Agent in that it’s set in a small town (this time though, it’s Australia). Somersault’s is a coming of age story really about a girl who runs off when she’s caught snogging her Mum’s boyfriend. It was easy to watch, although it didn’t have a lot happening in it to be honest. I kind of felt that it could have done with a bit more drama, as the dramatic climax there was seemed to pass very quickly. Not bad though if there’s nothing else in the video shop!

You can catch the trailer here.
