Children In Need

Me with balloon Pudsey
My bad week didn’t get much better when Christine and I paid a trip to Ballycastle to film an as live OB for Children In Need. This involved us filming a wheelbarrow race up a busy street, a strongwoman pulling a lorry and people getting wet sponges thrown at them. We had to abandon the first take after we all got attacked by what seemed like hundreds of kids coming out of nowhere with wet sponges. Thanks for that!

Thankfully the second take went a lot better, and then it was back in the car to Belfast to enjoy the rest of the BBC NI Children In Need show and the party afterwards! The party was a bit tamer than in previous years - I think I was home by 5.30am (although I can’t remember getting home!)

I had a really good time catching up with everyone from work (although I missed catching up with one person in particular I wanted to speak to) and wanted to do it all over again the next night! Photos of us partying at Children In Need are here.
