An amazing film

January 12th, 2006  |  Published in Film / TV

Hotel Rwanda
I watched Hotel Rwanda the other night, and what an amazing film. You can see the trailer for it here if you’ve got Quicktime and here if you’ve got Windows Media Player, and if you haven’t seen it yet, I would highly recommend it.

It’s about a really brave guy who during the Rwandan genocide, helped to shelter refugees in the hotel that he was running at the time - it’s a true story. It really was shocking what went on in Rwanda, and it just makes you think that no matter what problems you think you have, they’re nothing really compared to what some other people are going through.

You can find out more about what happened to the man portrayed in the film here.
