What’s cookin?

May 1st, 2006  |  Published in Food and Drink  |  1 Comment

Burger

Now I’m back in Belfast, I’m determined to start cooking more food myself. I’m a bit fed up with all the stuff from Marks & Spencer, and having to go down there every lunchtime to buy something for dinner. And I also quite like the satisfatction you get once you’ve cooked dinner yourself.

So on Sunday I made a trek up to Sainsbury’s, and got a whole load of groceries. And the result? Well last night I cooked my own burger (above), which tasted a lot nicer than anything I’d have been able to buy in the shops. I’m not saying it was great, but it wasn’t bad! Tomorrow night is a Goan Prawn Curry, which I think will be a bit trickier!
