This bird is causing me grief

Well maybe not this one exactly, but I haven’t been sleeping right for the last three weeks, because every morning at 4.30am I’m being woken by what sounds like a mass of seagulls squacking and cawing outside my bedroom window. Every morning! Through the double glazing! It’s been driving me mad, because I’m really rubbish if I don’t get a full eight hours sleep every night.
So on Saturday, I went to bed early (yes, stayed in!) and lo and behold - 4.30am I’m woken, not by seagulls, but by someone ringing my doorbell. Persistantly. I lay there for ten minutes while this carried on, determined not to get up, but in the end curiosity got the better of me. I looked out the window and saw a girl (obviously drunk) staggering away from my block of flats. I have no idea who she was (I was too far away to see if it was someone I knew), but the only thing that made me feel a bit better about being woken up yet again when I was trying to get just at least one good night’s sleep was that she fell right on her ass as she staggered off…. looked (and sounded) painful!
