iTrips to be made legal!

July 16th, 2006  |  Published in Apple, Music, Technology

I wrote a while ago about how ridiculous it was that you can’t use iTrips and the like legally in the UK. Basically they are a FM transmitter that you plug in to your iPod. You can then listen to your iPod through any radio once you’ve tuned it into the same frequency.

My mate Rob and I found it very handy when we were driving round the UK in a hire car for work - it meant we had a whole load of music at our fingertips to listen to in the car.

Anyway, it looks like people have seem sense, and apparently they’re to be legal by November - just in time for Christmas!

You can get your own here.
