A sneak peak at new style McDonald’s

I used to work at McDonald’s - I was a manager there for three years or so while I was at uni, and really enjoyed it. But McDonald’s is having to go through a lot of changes at the moment. One thing that they have been behind the times with is changing the design of their stores.
This seems to be changing though, as the picture above shows. I only go to McD’s about once every two months now, but if it looked like the picture above, I reckon I might be tempted in more often. There’s an interesting article about McDonald’s new design stratgey over at Business Week.

Wow. That’s pretty swish-looking, Si. Though, perhaps looking a little worryingly like a Starbucks!
Of course, I’m completely shallow when it comes to these things, so if they look that pretty, I’ll be seduced in more often.
