Elizabethtown

I was a tad hungover yesterday (see below) so stayed in last night with a DVD - Elizabethtown, which is the latest Cameron Crowe film.

I’d read some terrible reviews of this film, saying it was over-long and boring, but I liked it. I must admit having Kirsten Dunst in the film definitely helped (she seems like the perfect girlfriend!), and maybe it was because I was hungover and could hardly move, but it was one of those sad, but feelgood films that’s perfect for watching on a Sunday night.

It is a bit of a girl’s film to be honest, and you do end up with that ‘why can’t that happen in real life’ feeling, but if you’re in the mood for a gentle romantic comedy, you should check it out.
