Getting things organised

October 15th, 2006  |  Published in Web/Tech, Work

Backpack

A lot of my mates take the mickey out of me because they say I’m really organised. Well, I don’t think that’s really true - it’s just that I always try and do little things straight away rather than put them off. I think I could be quite a bit more organised with bigger projects, like work things, but I think I’ve maybe found the tool to help me do it.

Backpack is a kind of online storage space where you can keep to-do lists, notes, e-mails and more on pages which you can organise by project (at least that’s the way I’m using mine). It’s also a handy kind of dumping ground for any ideas you have.

The free version is limited to five pages, and doesn’t let you upload files, images, or use the Backpack calendar, but that’s probably good enough for me.
