Avril Lavigne’s new single

February 19th, 2007  |  Published in Music  |  3 Comments

It’s called “Girlfriend”. Hmmm… maybe it will grow on me. Out on March 19th, and the album, “The Best Damn Thing” is out on April 17th.

Best Damn Thing

She looks hot there I reckon!

yes, Avril looks hot but you have to admit she looks about 14 years old and they have deliberately styled her in this way. I feel as horny as you do when i see this kind of kiddie-smut but you have to suspend that shit. now i know what your thinking, “she’s really 21 and if she looks a lot younger it’s cool”. is it really cool simon, is it really cool to be lusting after school-girls whether they’re real or 45 year old woman crushed into an ann summers school uniform with their hair in bunches and spread-eagled on the readers wives section of your favourite jazz mag? this paedo carrot-dangling must stop. and the stopping starts here.

    Mr Watson,

Welcome to commenting on my site! Perhaps a bit of an over-reaction though? And jazz mags? The only jazz mag I read is Trombone monthly….

i dunno, Trombone Monthly has gotten a bit populist recently. I stopped buying it when they started their Celebrities Blow Brass section, i mean who wants to read about Floella Benjamin’s collection of 1920’s fugelhorns, eh? get your mince pies round Fleet Flute instead, proper corduroy psycho-molten-static-jazz and no mistake, you can practically hear the sounds through the text, the writing sounds like a lightening storm wired through a black hole inside an atari - it’s THAT radical. i suppose that’s why they don’t need to give away any free CD’s like mojo magazine.
