I stopped buying it when they started their Celebrities Blow Brass section, i mean who wants to read about Floella Benjamin's collection of 1920's fugelhorns, eh? get your mince pies round Fleet Flute instead, proper corduroy psycho-molten-static-jazz and no mistake, you can practically hear the sounds through the text, the writing sounds like a lightening storm wired through a black hole inside an atari - it's THAT radical. i suppose that's why they don't need to give away any free CD's like mojo magazine. i dunno, Trombone Monthly has gotten a bit populist recently.
