Sunny weekend!

It was a SCORCHIO weekend here in Belfast this weekend - it was great! So, G and I headed out in the sun. First off was a trip to Starbucks for lunch, where I quite fancy a girl that works behind the counter. She was working, but I didn’t speak to her. I’m not going to say which Starbucks in case by some weird co-incidence she reads this and then thinks I’m weird or something.

Then it was off to Botanic Gardens to lie in the sun, people watch, and generally soak up some rays. It was really relaxing, and I felt totally chilled out!

We also went to the tropical ravine, which sounds very interesting, but it was a bit disappointing. It was a big shed filled with loads of plants, but they were all green, and not very colourful. We did see some bananas though and some koi carp!

So it was a really nice and chilled out day, and I managed to get a bit of colour. However, on the way back to my house, we saw this.

Bin food

Which kind of ruined things a bit. Who would leave a disgusting meal like that sitting on top of a bin? We resisted the chance to see if it was still hot or not.

On Saturday night, G kindly lent me some money, so we headed out. It was off to The Fly, which was actually quite good, although I got drunk. G doesn’t drink, so how on earth he puts up with me wittering a load of nonsense all night, I’ll never know.

Sunday was hungover. Back to work today, and my series is really beginning to get going, so hopefully I’ll be able to start writing about that soon, once it’s out in the open!
