O2 to get the iPhone?

July 5th, 2007  |  Published in Apple, Mac, Technology

The Times is reporting today that O2 has won the battle to be the carrier for the iPhone in the UK. That’s good news for me as I’m on O2, and can’t wait to get my iPhone - I haven’t upgraded my ‘phone now for like 2 and a half years!

However, I’m not going to believe it until I hear it from either Apple or O2, as previous rumours had suggested it was Vodafone and T-mobile that were going to be carrying the ‘phone in Europe.

Hopefully the fact that The Times are saying it’s O2 means it’s a bit closer to the truth!
