Well Apple’s iPhone was finally announced today after years of speculation! I was really hoping it would be available straight away in the US, and unlocked, as I’m off to Dallas next week.
But, it looks like it won’t be out until June, and the only carrier signed up with it at the moment is Cingular, [...]

It’s a toothbrush that plays tunes inside your head! It reminds me of the lollipops you could get a while ago in the states that played music in your head that no-one else could hear (which a lot of people don’t believe ever existed, but they did). The selection of music you can get with [...]

One of the great (free) things to come out of Apple’s big announcement last week, was an upgrade of iTunes to version 7. Part of this means that you can now buy additional games such as Tetris to put on your iPod! I used to be addicted to Tetris, so couldn’t resist buying it, and [...]

I wrote a while ago about how ridiculous it was that you can’t use iTrips and the like legally in the UK. Basically they are a FM transmitter that you plug in to your iPod. You can then listen to your iPod through any radio once you’ve tuned it into the same frequency.
My mate Rob [...]

I don’t like Nokia mobile ‘phones. I find the navigation on their menus completely un-user-friendly and difficult to work out - the opposite of Sony Ericsson ‘phones (I currently have the k750i).
My mobile’s due for an upgrade soon though, and unfortunately Sony Ericsson’s upcoming offerings look decidedly boring - unless you’re interested in a Walkman [...]

What on earth is this you ask. Well, it’s a Slingbox - a little box which sits underneath your TV. Plug it into your digital, Sky+ box or Tivo, and connect it to your broadband connection. Then you can watch and control your TV / digital box from any computer with an internet connection.
Just think [...]

In what I think is a pretty interesting link, Apple and Nike today announced that they’re lanching a new ‘sports kit‘ for the iPod nano. Basically, it means putting a little sensor in your Nike+ shoe which then talks to a receiver attached to your iPod nano. The sensor then transmits data about your run [...]

I had an iTrip for my old iPod, which wasn’t compatible with my new one, and I used it quite a bit whenever I was on a long drive for work. It’s basically a wireless transmitter which plugs into your iPod and transmits music to an FM frequency you set on a radio - be [...]

I haven’t been posting much of late, and it’s all been quite boring. My excuse is that my Mac has died - the hard disk decided to stop working about three weeks ago, so I’ve only been posting when I have a spare minute at work, which isn’t often of late, with all the commissioning [...]

Well after work tonight, I headed into Regent Street to the Apple Store, to see if I could grab a look at the new generation video iPod (or iPod with video) depending on how you look at it.
I was trying to work out whether I should ask for one for my Christmas or just wait [...]
