Blogging fron an aeroplane!

Weirdly I am blogging from an aeroplane! I’m on an American Airlines flight to Las Vegas that has wireless access. It’s weird but pretty cool.

I have let my blogging side down recently, but have a week off this week so will try and catch up in between hopefully winning loads of dosh and catching some rays.

So I’m back from Oz – we got back yesterday at 1pm. And I’m gutted. I’ll pop up some other things we did in Sydney once I’ve finished geotagging all my photos, but I’m am not happy to be back. Say no more!

I have been incredibly busy of late, which is why I haven’t been posting. I’m in the middle of three weeks without a day off. Boooo! Anyways, I have next weekend off, so I’m hoping to catch up with all this blogging business then.

Look at de cute robotron made of cardboard! The idea behind Tweenbots is to explore is to see if a human-like object could traverse the streets of New York.

Basically the Tweenbots have a destination on their flag, and are left alone to see if people will help them get to their destination. Neat! It would be cool if there were instructions on the site as to how to build your own, and then they could travel all over the world!

I’ve been lame

So I haven’t been bloggin’ for what seems like ages! Truth to be told I’ve been up to my eyes really with travelling to and back from London – I’ve been there about four times in the last five weeks. Brilliant for the frequent flyer miles, but it’s left me feeling a bit disorganised and all over the place. Also, we start filming for my new series in two weeks’ time, which seems to have come round very quickly. I’ve been a bit distracted from that as well – last week for example I was interviewing for Assistant Producers for three days, and in London one day, leaving me only one day in the office.

Anyways, I’m back now so will try and catch up on what I’ve been doing in the last couple of weeks.

Last weekend I was in London to see the family. My flight didn’t get in until 10.15pm on Thursday night, so I was getting the tube back to Canary Wharf with some rather drunk people. On passing through the tube station at Canary Wharf, I saw this cool dude busking with some neon see through electric guitar (which you can just about see in the pic).

His sounds were pretty neat, but what was annoying me (and probably him no doubt) was the drunken banking dude, standing about 1 inch away from him, nodding in time to the ‘beat’. He was there for a good five minutes while I watched. What a prat! Not cool.

What does GPOWY stand for?
